Sara is pure southern sass.  Her country roots give her a truckload of characters and absurd perspectives that will make you laugh so much, an hour will feel like a snap of the fingers...a real judgemental and sassy snap, that is!  Sara finds humor in the comparison of her trailer trash upbringing with her now 'Country Strong' existence in Los Angeles.  She also provides a raw insight into how real modern independent women think and speak...no MadMen “yes-girls” here.  Sara headlines the Comedy Central Stage regularly, and also frequents the prestigious Groundlings Theater, which produced such greats as Kristin Wiig, Will Ferrell, and Cheri Oteri.

Sara Cravens, originally from Cookeville Tennessee, currently resides in Los Angeles California.  The daughter of a teddy bear cop dad and animated bookkeeper momma, Sara has had a love for colorful characters her entire life.

Sara graduated from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee where she received TWO degrees!  A Bachelors of Communication in Broadcasting and a Bachelors of Science in Theater...though all she really learned in college was how to smuggle the most amount of airplane bottles into a football game as possible.  As soon as Sara graduated (with her TWO degrees- FANCY!), she packed as much of her stuff into a friend's SUV and headed to California.  After running out of gas and being stranded in the Mojave desert, she finally made it to LA.  Sara quickly got to work supporting her new existence in the land of expensive rent.  She worked at Starbucks in the morning, nannied during the day, and catered parties at night.  (Sara always knew how to find jobs that would also feed her-- CHUBBY=RESOURCEFUL)  Sara immediately was accepted into the Groundlings professional school of comedy, where many of her idols also studied.  There Sara was able to further delve into the characters that had entertained her her whole life.

Sara began working regularly in voiceover, and was finally able to bid adieu to all her side jobs.  Sara is now a full-time comedian and actress; you may have seen or heard her in spots for TARGET, CVS, BEVMO, NISSAN, US CELLULAR, CITGO, DIET DR PEPPER, and many more.  She has a giant place in her heart for children, so in addition to her own acting, Sara has created improv programs for several kids organizations and comedy clubs all over Los Angeles.  She currently is the improv instructor at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank.  Sara has created numerous original shows that regularly play around LA: “Freak Like Tennessee” a multimedia sketch show about growing up in the South, “Sara & Andrew” a Flight of the Conchords meets Mates of State musicomedy duo, and “Boyfriend/Girlfriend” a series that tackles all the weird, embarrassing, and annoying stuff you put up with when you're in love.
